The company moved onto the AS/400 (IBM i) in 1988 with Activ8, the performance booster, and Extermin8, the AS/400′s first interactive source level debugger.
In 1994, ASNA moved into the world of GUI Development and delivered ASNA Visual RPG and DataGate providing an easy and seamless approach to Windows and Web development for AS/400 developers. In the early 2000s, ASNA ushered in Visual Studio-based ASNA Visual RPG for .NET as well as an IBM i application modernization focus with ASNA Monarch and ASNA Wings.
