Wings rivoluziona il processo di modernizzazione IBM i RPG basato sui caratteri di interfaccia utente con un browser alternativo alla tradizionale modalità 5250. Dal momento che Wings utilizza l’Open Access RPG Edition di IBM i per consentire la modernizzazione di porzioni dell’interfaccia utente di programmi nativi RPG, tutta la logica del programma e l’accesso al database rimangono residenti su IBM i.

ASNA Announces the First Two Cities in its Spring 2012 “No Stinkin’ Screen Scrapers Here” Tour
ASNA is proud to announce the first two cities in its “No Stinkin’ Screen Scrapers Here” 2012 US tour. The first two free hands-on workshops will be held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Las Vegas, Nevada on February 9th and 24th, respectively. These workshops are the natural follow-on to ASNA’s previous tour of half-day Wings presentations around the country. Those presentations were very well received, but we heard attendee feedback loud and clear: you want to touch Wings; you want to use it! That’s what you’ll do in these workshops.

The platform that’s come to be known as the IBM i platform has had many preceding names. At ASNA, we’ve struggled internally with what to call the platform in our sales and product documentation documents. We’ve decided that to minimize the noise, we’re only going to the call the platform the “IBM i.” That’s generally what we’ve seen the IBM i midrange press settle on—and it seems to make the most sense to us.

Prima di tutto desidererei ringraziarvi per molte ragioni. In primo luogo vorrei congratularmi per il successo di ASNA Palooza2011, tenutosi a Gatwick con tutti i nostri clienti del Regno Unito e molti altri provenienti da diverse aree d’Europa. Abbiamo imparato molto ed al tempo stesso passato dei bei momenti, poiché non tutto dovrebbe essere ritenuto puro lavoro.
ASNA celebra 30 anni di lavoro con la Comunità Midrange IBM
ASNA è orgogliosa di annunciare nel dicembre 2011 il compimento del suo 30° anniversario. In questi trent’anni ASNA ha pienamente soddisfatto i propri clienti con le sue innovazioni, premiate da riconoscimenti internazionali, e soluzioni software brevettati per la piattaforma Midrange IBM e prodotti di sviluppo Microsoft.
