The frustrations associated with the green-screen user interface are legendary and universal. Although a green-screen does indeed provide a superb heads-down data entry experience, that isn’t the point. Despite the positives the green-screen offers, the overwhelming negative is that the green-screen is used, almost universally, as a measure of the quality of the application.
