ASNA will have booths at COMMON in Indianapolis, IN and at the RPG/DB2 Summit in Minneapolis, MN this fall. Please stop by our booth at one or both of these conferences to say, "Hello!"
Palooza will be here before you know it! Have you registered yet? Seats are going fast!
The next major version of Windows is expected to be called "Windows 9" and it's coming earlier than you think! Its big goal is to push Windows 8 out of the picture!
ASNA will have a combination Windows/Web 5-day training class at its San Antonio, TX classroom on December 1st - December 5th, 2014. In the past we've offered either a Windows class or a Web class, but rarely done both in one week. However, we've recently had the demand for such a combination class.
Another article in this issue of the ASNA newsletter discusses AVR for .NET’s `Shared()` keyword. In addition to `Shared()`, there is another little-known, but valuable, variable-related keyword to consider, `Static()`.
You heard it here first! Mark your calendars, we’re having ASNApalooza on October 20 and 21 this year in San Antonio, Texas. We’ll have, among other topics, several new sessions on AVR for .NET, some on creating mobile applications, and a few on modernizing existing RPG user interfaces, and a few other surprises. We are still planning the full session agenda, so if you have an idea for a Palooza session, please contact us (you can use the “Contact Us” feature on this Web site or send Roger Pence an email at rp@asna.com).
