This has been a great year for ASNA due to the wonderful support we have received from all the ASNA customers. I want to thank you all and wish you all a very happy holiday season. The launch of our new product Wings at the end of 2010 was very well received and we are thrilled with the responses we have had. There have been some great successes and we look forward to many more in 2012. 2011 is the 30th Anniversary for ASNA which is exciting for all of us. Going into our 31st year you can expect to hear important new offerings from ASNA. We will keep you posted.
We at ASNA are happy to report that we have completed the move to our new offices in San Antonio. Our phone numbers and email addresses remain unchanged. This is a welcome move for us, as we now have the added office space we need for the new employees joining us at ASNA. In addition to more room, our new office affords us lots of open space and desk-to-desk transparency. Even with the additional space, we’ve already run into our first GOOD problem that our Visual RPG.NET training class for September is sold out and we have standing room only. So, any time you’re in San Antonio, drop by and visit our new office. We’d be proud to give you a tour.
Spring is a great time of the year. It makes everything feel new again and fills you with energy. And that’s just the way we’re feeling at ASNA right now. The community that we’ve built around our customers is very important to us here at ASNA. As part of our continued investment in that community, we’re excited to announce that ASNApalooza 2011 will be held this year in England at the Arora Gatwick Hotel. Our non-US customer base has grown substantially over the last couple of years and we’re looking forward to seeing many new faces in England this fall.
I am very pleased to share this very good news with you: We completed the management buyout of ASNA from BluePhoenix in December. BluePhoenix is no longer associated with ASNA in any way. ASNA worldwide is looking forward to growing our product and services offerings and listening to what our customers want and expect for the future. A couple of years ago, Carlos Valero and I acquired the European ASNA operations from BluePhoenix, and created ASNA International. We grew the European business substantially and had lots of customer success. It was a natural move for us to acquire the ASNA US operations. We’re proud to say that the new ASNA now has more than 50 employees worldwide and is ready to help its customers worldwide achieve the application development success they need. ASNA’s European operation headquarters are in Barcelona, Spain. Research and development, sales, and support facilities remain in San Antonio, Texas. Carlos is the Chairman of ASNA and I am President of ASNA US.
